The main difference between the two is their application and the longevity. ☺️

A standard tint - colours the brow hairs, enhances their colour making them look fuller and more defined.
Lasting 7-10 days on the brow hairs, this does however depend on your hair growth cycle and skincare routine (eg. scrubbing your brows with cleanser twice daily) will reduce the time that you get from your tint. 🔥

A brow stain - colours both the brows and the skin underneath.
The longevity of the stain is that of up to 10 days on the skin and up to 6wk on the brow hairs themselves. It's a stronger formula that is ideal for those with sparse or uneven brows. ✨

If you're wanting to enhance your natural brow hairs without affecting the skin, go for a brow tint.
If you prefer a more defined, filled in darker brow with a longer lasting result on the skin, a brow skin is a better option at your next appointment.

Pigmentation & IPL - Let's talk you through the pr

Pigmentation & IPL - Let's talk you through the process.

IPL creates a broad spectrum of light in pulses. The melanin (which is responsible for dark spots & freckles) absorbs the light energy from the IPL, it then converts to heat.

The heat then breaks down the pigmented cells but does not damage the cells around the area.

Shortly after a session your pigmentation will darken, this is a completely normal response and it indicates that the pigment is responding positively to the treatment.

Pigment will continue to darken and resemble coffee grounds almost, this is part of the healing process as the pigment cells continue to break down. These spots will continue to flake off and crust - usually this takes around 7 days post treatment.

In the meantime - we recommend to moisturise daily, wear SPF and don't pick or scratch at the affected area it's best to let it fall off naturally.

IPL treatments can be booked via the link in our website but it's recommended that first time clients have a required Patch Test before their first initial appointment, this is free.
